Day 1: Athens - Arrival Arrival at the Athens airport. Welcome by our representative, assistance with custom formalities and transfer to your Athens hotel. Day at leisure to explore the city
Day 2: Athens - Sightseeing tour - Sounion After breakfast we start on the Athens sightseeing tour including visits to the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Erechtheum and the Acropolis Museum. Early afternoon tour to Cape Sounion to visit the Temple of Poseidon. Clear skies offer the most memorable sunset in Attica. Overnight in Athens
Day 3: Athens - Argolis - Olympia After breakfast we start on our 3-day Classical tour of Greece. Leave by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidaurus, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nauplion (short photo stop), drive on to Mycenae and visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Dinner and overnight in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games.
Day 4: Olympia - Delphi In the morning visit the archaeological site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the archaeological Museum. Then drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which is crossing the Corinthian bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpactos and Itea, arriving in Delphi for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Delphi - Athens After breakfast visit the archaeological site and the Museum. A couple of hours free time in Delphi before departure. Drive through the village of Arachova, reknown for its colorful rugs and carpets. Return to Athens via Levadia and Thebes. Arrive in Athens early in the evening for overnight.
Day 6: Athens - Departure After breakfast transfer to the airport for departure
