Day 1: Arrival - Athens Arrival in Athens and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon is at leisure to explore the city of Athens. Walk through the narrow streets of Plaka or take an optional excursion to Cape Sounion. In the evening enjoy a delicious Greek dinner in one of the numerous tavernas
Day 2: Athens / Mykonos After breakfast we start on the city tour of Athens visiting the Acropolis and Parthenon, the Erechtheion and the Acropolis Museum. Drive past the Tomb of the Uknown Soldier, the Panathenian Stadium, the Temple of Zeus and lots more. Transfer to the port of Piraeus to embark the hydrofoil or ferry to Mykonos and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for your own activities. In the evening enjoy a candlelight dinner at a typical sea front Greek restaurant
Day 3, 4: Mykonos Two days at leisure. Explore the beautiful beaches, the dark hills and the numerous windmills of the island. In the evening enjoy the Mykonian night-life in one of the numerous night clubs and bars
Day 5: Mykonos / 4-day Cruise Morning at leisure. Late afternoon transfer to the port of Mykonos to join the 4-day cruise
Day 6: Kusadasi / Patmos (on cruise) Arrive at the picturesque harbour of Kusadasi (Turkey). Optional tour to Ancient City of Ephesus. Here you may visit a number of of Greek, Hellenistic and Roman monuments. In the afternoon we arrive at the island of Patmos. Optional tour to the St. John Monastery
Day 7: Rhodes (on cruise) Arrive at Rhodes, the sunniest Greek island, located between three continents, namely Europe, Asia and Africa. Optional tour to the modern and ancient city of Rhodes. Walk through the streets of the city and bargain some of the most beautiful souvenirs for home Optional excursion to the Acropolis of Lindos
Day 8: Heraklion, Crete / Santorini (on cruise) Arrive at Heraklion. Optional half day tour visiting the city of Heraklion and the Knossos palace, one of the most important places of the Minoan civilisation of 4,000 years ago. Visit Santorini, thought by many to be the remains of the lost continent of Atlantis. Walk through whitewashed houses and narrow streets. Sip a glass of local wine in an outdoor cafe as you enjoy the views of the distant islands
Day 9: Piraeus - Departure Arrive in Piraeus and transfer to the airport for your flight home
